About 10 or 12 years ago I got to cast some of the Winston rods that were about, they were very nice, but they were always way out of my price bracket. A good friend has one of the hollow built cane rods. That is a very strange rod, in a nice way, for built cane. They are so far beyond my pocket I don't even dream of owning one. For some reason Winston Rods haven't really caught on here There used to be three or four dealers in the UK, but I think only Foxtons stock them now. Shame really as they are very nice rods.
