HoosierCricks 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2014 Hello to all! I've lurked around the site from time to time over the past several years and decided it was time to introduce myself. I live in central Indiana and I've been fly fishing and tying for about 18 years, mostly for warm water but occasionally venture into cold water. I'm a USAF veteran which allowed me to travel around the country and see all of our wonderful states. I also lived in England for a few years but, unfortunately, didn't fly fish at the time. I enjoy seeing everyone's creative tying and look forward to seeing even more.

HoosierCricks 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2014 Mike, I've fished the Eel for smallies around Spencer park and just east of Logansport and have caught nice fish at both areas. Steve, I live east of Lafayette near the south fork of the Wildcat and fish it often. Both parents' families are from Lafayette which is why I ended up back here after my time in service but the plan is to relocate to another part of the country after the kids are through school. Thanks to both of you for the welcome. Jason
mikechell 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2014 I've got a sister who's back yard is across the river from Spencer Park. Wife worked in Lafayette most of the 90's. Small world. You should relocate to Florida ... mild winters and fishing all year long.
