Sandworm 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2015 I know you gonna love the Stabilizer Cloth. It's industructable . Try burning Mayfly wings out of it. But that's a whole other topic . Tim
Sandworm 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2015 Ok.... These are the last two color patterns for now. One for Lakes that hold Rainbows and Pike . Match the Hatch with this Rainbow Fingerling . If your fishing the East Coast from Jupiter Inlet south and all the way around the West side. Chuck this Greenee imitation . It can also slip by as a Tenn. Shad . T. Sandworm 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2015 Thanks for the look see at someone else's version of a great idea. I just posted my version of an idea that my friend Sato originated back in 05' and later published in Flytyer Magazine . They are one of the best Baitfish patterns I have ever seen . I hope the Pep's that read this topic try them out . Tim

fshng2 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2015 Thanks for sharing the Stabilizer cloth. I'll be getting some to try. Does it look clear when epoxy is put over top and cured? Does it also take markers well?

Sandworm 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2015 No Problem-O. The cloth is white you can't see through it. It takes markers great . But here's the thing .... I use a lot of solvent based coatings like softex. If u use something like that use water base markers. They don't run and smear when the solvent soaks through. Use Sharpies if you plan on using it just the way it is. It makes great realistic Mayfly wings and all kinds of stuff. Just leave the cap of the Head Cement bottle and go on a fly Tiers vision quest ! L. O. L. You will think of something ! Tim
