Hello Everyone,

 

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who has ever visited flyrecipes.com. Special thanks to folks like Tim (planettrout) who have been involved since the beginning. A friend emailed me last night to let me know of this thread. I corrected the database issue and flyrecipes.com is up and running once again.

 

A quick history: About 4 1/2 years ago Deb and I went through some pretty deep personal struggles and I all but abandoned the fly recipes website. In the time since I've kept it going/limping but, it is a system that is significantly out of date technologically.

 

Looking forward: Deb and I have been working for nearly two years on a new project/business called Firehole Outdoors (as mentioned by mentioned by Rob, troutlore). You can find a bit of information at fireholeoutdoors.com. As part of this endeavor, the fly recipes website will be brought up to speed technologically and get a fresh look and new name/website. This will take some time and I don't look for it to happen until spring 2017 at least. Anyone who would like to be in the loop please signup on fireholeoutdoors.com.

PS: Mike (mikechell) you have been an avid supporter and I am grateful. At this time I am unable to keep the tyer profiles running (another database bug). I apologize for the lengthy lack of communication.
