TroutRoad 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Hey everyone. I've been fly tying for about 3 years now. I was given a fly tying kit as a gift, and have not stopped since. My skills are increasing with every fly I tie. I can't say the same for my fly fishing skills, but I do hope to improve some day. My favourite flies are streamers and large wet flies because the colors and patterns are endless, and I enjoy straying from a traditional fly pattern and experimenting with color variations. I want to move into making salmon flies at some point as well for this very reason. I look forward to browsing the forum and learning new skills and techniques! Michelle. mikechell 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2017 Welcome to the site, Michelle. Hopefully, you'll find a home here, and contribute as well as browse. Pictures ... we all love to see pictures of the flies being tied. And I've heard B.C. is beautiful this time of year, so some of the country side would be welcome, too. But, until then, enjoy the site and browse to your heart's content.
