SBPatt 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2020 hook - WFC Model 28 #10 thread - UTC 140 fluoro pink core - 8lb mono underbody - elk hair body/head - 1mm foam pink wing - deer hair legs - medium rubber grey indicator - 1mm foam orange Put a loop on one end of the mono Brush hook shank with Super Glue; tie in mono Clean, stack a clump of elk hair; trim butts/tie in, hook loop end onto gallows Wrap elk up core and back down; trim tips Tie in foam strip (about 1/3 gap width) Brush underbody with Super Glue; wrap up And back down; tie off/trim, trim mono Clean/stack/measure (tips to end of body) a clump of deer hair; trim butts/tie in Cut another strip of foam (gap width; tie in on underside Poke a hole for the hook eye Move thread to eye Pull foam forward on underside; pull over eye, tie in at eye Take a few wraps at eye (protects foam from splitting) Cross thread over head, pull foam back, tie in Tie in legs Add indicator Whip finish, SHHAN; trim legs, trim foam (topside and underside Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
