Subbed ostrich for dubbing on the collar due to general laziness. hook - Dai Riki 280 #8 thread - UTC 140 burnt orange bead - 5/32 black rib - Swannundaze amber abdomen - dubbing orange/ginger antron mix wingcase - Krystal Flash pearl wing buds - quail hackle - patridge antennae - pheasant tail collar - ostrich herl hot orange head - dubbing dark brown mash barb, slide bead on hook; jam a few wraps of non-tox into the back of the bead start thread, tie in rib, wrap to bend dub thread/dub abdomen to 3/4 mark rib abdomen; tie off/trim tie in a few strands of KF; fold, tie down/trim prep 2 quail body feathers (any dark feather would work); tie in on either side (tips to 1/2 mark) prep partridge; tie in by tip; wrap, tie off/trim tie in 2 PT fibers (extend gap width past the bend); trim butts tie in ostrich; twist around thread and wrap collar dub thread/dub head; rough up dubbed head half hitch 2, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
