FlaFly 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Scott This is kinda new to me... does the tubing make this fly float? Or if not, what is the purpose of tubing over a mono body? Really beautiful fly!

SBPatt 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2015 does the tubing make this fly float? Or if not, what is the purpose of tubing over a mono body? The original pattern (found this on a Canadian site) had a red floss body. I was just playing around with different materials and liked how the tubing looked; even though it's hollow, I don't think it adds any buoyancy. Mono would create a neat effect, too; may have to try it. Regards, Scott
