Mike West 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2017 My daughter wants to fly me out to meet my future son in-law family...two of his uncels are commercial fishing men but don't know diddly about fly fishing. mikechell 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2017 Mike, I am writing this only to give opinions on what I THINK you'll find out there. I've never been to that Island. I've been to several others in the Caribbean and to Crete in the Mediterranean. On some of them, the local commercial fishing has decimated the fish populations, and sport fishing is rarely any good. Volcanic Islands may not have much wading accessibility, either, as the rocks break off, rather than grind down, and all you get are jagged drop offs into the water. There are also park boundaries and protected waters you can't fish in. But the Google Earth pictures and satellite images look promising. Good luck. I hope you get some time to fish.
