Yep, they like da club

This last summer I caught a nice 18" Cutthroat on a trib of the Crowsnest River, AB.

It was in a bend in the stream, I deaddrifted it around the corner, and just as it was coming to some deadfall, up came the trout and fish on.

This fly gives a great sillouette.

Good looking fly! :headbang:

I tied some of those last year on a size 1 straight shank worm hook for bass. I didn't add a wing, and they cast like crap, but the bass loved them. I tied them in green/chartreuse/yellow, and brown/orange/tan. I'm going to give a black cricket version a try next.

So...if you loose that thing on the river can you get fined for littering?............................ :j_k:

Its a hopper pattern. I'll grant the colors are a little interesting, but the sillouette is great. You could change the colors quite easily.
