Bryan Wright 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 I haven't use too much CDC yet (none) but why are there two different lengths of it? I am not crituquing just wondering.
Firetiger 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2010 CDC is good for you - it will put hair on your flies :lol2: I used it first as wing and then spun in loop as hackle. In combination it floats as a cork and the "hackle" is very mobile and thus appealing. This particular caddis works great jerked aggressively on a slow sinking leader - it will make a wave, sink and then pop back up. It provokes furious strikes. Sadly, the perfect time for fishing it are late summer evenings, June or so.... I haven't use too much CDC yet (none) but why are there two different lengths of it? I am not crituquing just wondering.
