  1. tonight while fishing once the wind died down I seen one of the most beautiful things a fly fisherman loves to see. this dark cloud started coming over the water and the fish started swelling up after it. any ideas?? that's right guys get out the madam x's the cicadaes are here :yahoo: :yahoo: :headbang: :headbang: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  2. might try going to a size 12 or ten to learn on a few times will help learn to proportion it better
  3. c clamp all the way and as for the comment about camping I use a wooden tv tray works perfect got so use to tying on it I been using it at home

  9. I have used both and even used antron yarn combed very thin
  10. guess this might have taught you a bit of the hard times maybe next time you wont be in such of a hurry and pay more attention to your speed
  11. come on peeps where all those tiers at this one is easy everyone has a few favorite go to flies for these weary fish lets swap em who knows you might just find a new favorite :yahoo:
  12. cast them near good cover and strip them about 3" let it pause then strip again it will make a weird sound if doing it right like a pop lol hence the name popper :hyst: :hyst:
  13. glad you guys are getting them so quickly mark them muddlers work on everything from bluegills to trout and everything in between
  14. anything used for bass bluegill or pike is a warmwater fly

  16. oh there is nothing better then swordfish steaks baisted with lemon pepper and butter cooked over mesquite chips mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm drooling now :cheers:
