  1. I have a Foam Stone fly that I've been working on for a while now. The instruction for this fly is located on the step by step and Tutorials section. I have made a couple of improvements on this fly recently. If you would like them in your swap just give me an OK and I'll be in.
  2. Peter Graves of Mission Imposable died the same day.
  3. Another great job Fred. A double thumbs up.
  4. Now that's a bunch of nice looking Bass Bugs. Great job.
  5. Nice tie Chris. Another fine looking fly. Last Saturday I and four other guys gave a fly tying demonstration at the local Bass Pro Shop. One of the things we had to do was tie a Wooly Bugger while we were blindfolded. That was a fun thing to do.
  6. I've been to several of those shows years ago when I lived in Waterford. Sure wish I could be there once again. Hope all that go have a great time.

  8. Welcome Adam. Lots of really good fly tiers on this site, and all will help you if you ask a question about something you don't know. :headbang:
  9. It could be a couple of things. The thread your using is to lite for the fly your tying. Too much tension will cause breakage. Nicking the thread on the hook point will cause breakage. Be sure the tension on your bobbin isn't to tight.
  10. Flies are ready to fly. Need an address.
  11. You can get lots of information on the Yellowstone area by signing up with http://www.blueribbonflies.com/ and start getting their newsletter. You can check out their past fishing reports. And it's the best fly shop in West Yellowstone I think.
  12. Just fooling around again. Found a way to put a twist in the tail of this fly.
  13. Welcome: You have come to the right place. Lots of information here. If you want to know something just ask. Lots of great people here. :headbang:
  14. I see you'r keeping up with your needle work. Good looking fly Chris. I bet it's a fish getter for sure. Good job.
  15. I've been fooling around with the skirting material that is used on spinner baits for legs. There is much more movement in the legs I think. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
  16. I gotta tell you Chris that's one good looking fly.
  17. I must agree with Big Daddy that is a great job you did on that fly.
  18. Glad they made it. Hope you catch lots of fish with the extra bugs.
