  1. I received my flies today. Great flies by easternfly and j74snook. Thanks again for the swap.
  2. A northern or Musky fly swap would be great. I don't think they would fit in any Altoid containers though...
  3. My heart goes out to you buddy... I hope everything turns out well. Thanks again for hosting.
  4. Welcome aboard brother. Its great to hear about all these tiers from Michigan. Keep on tying and get out there on the water. Where abouts in southeast Michigan? I'm from the Port Huron area.
  5. I'm in. This is my first swap but I'll try to keep up with the big boys. I'll be tying a bass minnow.
  6. Holgas are just amazing. Such simple things look so surreal with a plastic toy camera. Nice shot.
  7. Thanks for the welcome and the laugh. I could be related to someone in Alaska. I might have heard that in family stories before but I'm not sure. I'll have to ask my Grandfather. I take it that you know someone with the last name of Carufel in Alaska. What would their name be? Hopefully I am realted to them so I can come up there and visit them. That would be awesome...
  8. Hello. My name is Jake, I'm 22 and started fly fishing last year and started tying just after Christmas. I must say that the realistic flies on this site are absolutely amazing. I haven't seen anything like that since I started fishing. I'm planning on going to the Manistee next weekend for Steelhead. Does anyone know of any good holes that the chromers will be laying in? Its my first time over that way so any help would be nice.
