  1. WOW ! fantastic work ! Bravo, Mr. Whillock is a talented artist. You guys reach a higher level everyday!
  2. Chewable fly ! From now on, you'll catch fish with your own flies, believe me, it's a plus Simple flies are usually very efficient specially with peacock herl. Welcome in the world of flytying. If there is a Flytying club in your area, go and see the guys, they will be happy to pass their know-how.
  3. Thanks, Yeah the wings are made of turkey center tail. Once in a while, I have a kind of frenzy for a week or two where I have to sit at the flytying bench and try all sorts of techniques. I am also member of a flytying and flyfishing society in Three Rivers province of Quebec where I have the chance to rub shoulders with some terrific flytyers so it helps a lot for the inspiration and everything... Keep on tying and show us your work !
  4. Just want to show some streamers I tied a few years ago on CS17Hooks, I had to retouch the point of the hook on this picture because the flies were pinned on a styrofoam. I gave most of these patterns to friends of mine.
  5. Great fly Pujic ! Man, these flies look like jewels to me. Nice rendition, one of these days, I'll have to sit at the flytyingbench, pour myself a dram of a good single malt and try to tie one of these. I would be tempted to put this mini-monster on my wife's pillow and wait to see (and hear) her reaction, Ouch!
  6. Graham, You're an artist, maybe Georges Lucas would be interested by your talent. At first sight, I thought you were using true emeralds for the eyes ! Do you imagine insects like this one, big as an elephant in your backyard ? Better lock the door.
  7. Congrats guys, standing ovation for these beauties !
  8. It's a go for this annual event. Visit the FQSA website for the regulation. http://www.saumon-fqsa.qc.ca/Anglais/champ...ements-ang.html
