  2. Do you know when they ship the next issue? Thanks
  3. I paid for 2 years on this magazine about 8 months ago and have only received 1 issue. Is this magazine only put out once a year? Thanks
  4. There those molded dome eyes Mr Vegas. Easy to find. Janns Nettcraft, Cabelas, J Stockard and Feathercraft all sell them.
  5. Couldnt think of an original name. I just hope Mr. Smallmouth likes it! :headbang:

  7. Looks great to me! Stippled will not lead you wrong. Enjoy. Frank
  8. Now thats pretty sweet! What is the head made of?
  9. But i bet it was a snaffling in a good way!
  10. Here are some more streamers i recently tied. Anybody ever fish these and catch Smallies on em? Thanks Frank
  11. Alright , thanks for the heads up. I tie a larger crawdad that i have luck with. Just look up Franks Crawdad in the database for a look. Thanks
  12. They look great! Have you had luck with catching Smallies on them?
  13. Absolutely beautiful Stippled as usual! Art in its truest form.
  14. This is my version of the Gartside Softhackle Streamer. I added the eyes, thought it looked pretty good. Maybe i can bust a big Smallie on it! Frank
  15. Yep. Id say that will do it! Nice!
  16. Here`s my second attempt after reading some good info. I guess i see a little improvement, but im my worst critic. I think i shaved the head a tad small, but its goin in the fly box. I got some belly hair off a friend and it does make a huge differance for spinning. I noticed too when i finished the fly the deer hair body wants to spin around the hook shank, i guess i should apply a little more pressure huh. I used Danvilles flat waxed nylon 210 denier thread. Thanks again for help everybody. Frank
  17. Lots of good info! Thanks everybody. Frank
  18. Fascinating, I didn't realize you used bucktail for the whole fly. I would not use bucktail for stacking or spinning; instead, use hair labelled and sold as either "deer belly hair" or "deer body hair." -- Mike I learned something new today Hairstacker! Thanks! Where is the best place to get deer belly hair and i take it you can get it colored? Thanks Frank
  19. Thanks everybody. Hairstacker, i used bucktail hair cause thats all i had. I tried to use the hair that was coarse. Should i be using belly hair or what? And yes it is the same fly, just differant camera settings.
  20. Geez. After seeing Smalliestalkers work, i feel a little embarrassed. Hope i catch a Smallie or two!
