  4. Needed a River Shiner pattern for my creek smallies. Wanted a fuller profile that pushes water. I keep reading about big flies for bigger smallies so hope this does the trick. I can always thin it out if needed. What's everyone think? I'm gonna chuck it on my 6wt and it should shed water really nice.
  5. I use cigar tins and boxes. The cigars are damb tasty too!
  6. Yes, loosen the larger thumb screw just enough to loosen front screw. Put hook in place by finger tightening small front screw then tighten with larger back thumb screw. Very good vise, you wont be disappointed!

  15. Tied these within the last week or so. Might be to big for my 6wt? What would be a good asking price for these flies? (Price for each one). It takes me 25-35 min for each one. Yah im slow lol. Thanks
  16. I fish for smallmouth bass and everybody knows they will come out of the water with headshaking acrobatic moves, so since we are on the subject should I be pinching the barbs down on my flies? Im always afraid I will lose a good fish. Been fly fishing for about 6 years now and have never hooked my self yet. Been close a few times and I know its probably coming.
  17. The situation is getting the eyes to stay on a Murdich Minnow. Should I trim the area where im placing the eye? Gonna give the Goop a shot I think. Thinking it will have more adhesion to the Estaz fibers. Or find some Zap A Gap Gel. That's what the guys at Tight Lines use.
