  1. Flies done,; PM sent, will send out as soon as i receive address.
  2. I too vote Whiting. But as stated earlier, if you don't plan on using it very often why are you investing in it(dry fly capes)? If you primarily do the panfish thing and you only plan on doing that 2-4 times a year I don't see the point. But if you must, again my vote is Whitings. Great stuff, can't beat it.
  3. Hey guys. I'm from the USA but I wanted to check out some of the stuff on some of the European sites and I'm having a damn hard time finding good sites. I'm mostly looking for feathers. If you all got some and would like to share I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
  4. well my mistake then. I understood pro grade to be newer. I imagine then that just the into 4 packs is what is new about it then. Sorry about that.
  5. All of this info is good, I just wanted to add that the new Whiting Farms 4 color intro packs are a new grade of feathers, "Pro", and are graded under bronze. If it were me I'd stick with bronze. Capes or 1/2's.
  6. A lot of shipping issues with this guy eh? Seems like You need to just place one big order and wait it out as opposed to just ordering a couple of things. Was thinking of getting the 40 colors of congo hair myself but maybe I should order that and anything else I wanted so as to just place one large order.
  7. Thins is a great thread I have to put in some serious time going through the archives. I'll post back.
  8. Soooo I bookmarked a bunch of fly patterns in the database that I liked and wanted to go back and have a try at them. But i can't seem to find how I access my bookmarks. Help please? Thanks guys. Tony
  9. I haven't gotten to deer hair bugs yet but that one looks super nice. Great job.
  10. Hey Spey. Great first post. I can't wait to see what other great pieces of insight you have in store for us. Man I can already see I'm going to need a dictionary handy every time I read one of your posts Eh? Well if you keep up the great reply's this site is going to need to expand to have enough room to archive all of the amazing information you're going to have for us. I'm so glad that you were inspired to post that as your first post.
  11. A fellow and myself are scouring the internet for a fly we have only read mentioned in some articles here and there but we have not been able to find pictures. The fly is a Bonbright. However it is NOT the more commonly known Saltwater Tarpon Fly. It is a Midge Pupa of sorts. It has been describes as follows: "It's basically a chironomid tied with stripped purple quill tied in sizes 16-20 with a greyish tan dubbed thorax and a medium grey split duck wing case." Fair enough. We are just looking for a picture. I've googled the crap out of this and followed for as far as I can see every lead with no picture to be found. If anyone can help us with this it would be more than greatly appreciated. This damn thing is driving us nuts. Thanks guys. Tony
  12. Welcome Pat. You have a great bunch of flies there. They look great.
  13. Yhea no problem. If you have a problem with those, Just post back on here. I have some sites bookmarked that are more fur trader related not so much fly tying. But you can get full skins of almost anything you'd want. Including both polar bear rugs or patches of it on the skin. None of their stuff is dyed though as I imagine you are looking for when it comes to your rabbit skins. Good luck.

  17. This topic is like the year the Sabres went to the cup and lost due to a No Goal call. Everyone is gonna have a different opinion on the subject. Goal? No goal? I say HMH Spartan. I own a Standard and I love it. I also say that it was a god damn goal and we got robbed of the cup. But then again that's just one biased opinion. As I imagine most are when it comes to such a subject. Go for the HMH. And GO SABRES!
  18. Wonderful. I like this style of dry fly. Good video. Thanks for posting =P
  19. You guys like it eh. I was gonna buy it regardless. I love these types of flies. Thanks for the feedback though.
