  1. It was a while ago and I don't remember.
  2. Dad got all of his stuff off Ebay. Went to get a Materials Package, they made it sound like it was a bunch of stuff. Turned out to be a few hooks some useless feathers and some egg yarn. Totally not worth it, the quality of materials was not even that good, not what was pictured.
  3. I can't wait, got all my stuff ready.
  4. Thats where I saw the fly. I imediatly tied a few up and started beating up on the bass and bluegill at one of the local ponds by my parents house.
  5. Probably is. I wonder how many flys have multiple names because 2 or more people have similar ideas.

  8. If you know the stealth Bomber then you probably know my next fly. The Carnival Cruise Missle.
  9. I have been tieing this fly for a little while. It has worked great on good size bluegill, smallmouth, largemouth, and even the occational gar has taken a swipe at these. I put a pic of the pattern you use for the foam but it does not seem to be showing up. So here it is

    Travel pack...

Keep it organized and each material goes into its own small ziplock bag before going into the bigger bags. I use a plastic toolbox for my stuff. It works nicely but mine is too big I think. I am thinking of getting a smaller one for traveling or for going to classes because I don't need to bring all my materials everywhere I go.
  13. Very cool. I bet some Pickerel would love that.

    Are you a geek?

Nope I am not a Geek but I know many people who are. My roommate for one. He got bored one day so he build us a print server that sits in the living room, no more running out of ink. He is getting bored again so there is talk of either a DVR or a file server if he can get the parts from work.
  15. Most of mine is on Wed nights when I go to Flytying class. Other then that I might fit an hour or two total a week here and there.
  16. I tie a brown bugger. Since buggers catch everything.
  17. Looks like a great fly.
  18. Kinda funny, last time I went to the Mall with my friend we stop into Dick sporting goods for me to look at some stuff, she runs off. I find her about 5 mins later with a new sleeping bag, she gets it because it is pink. We stop in a few of her store and then we get over to the other side of the mall which has Orvis. I of course stop in to look around and see if there is anything I can't live without. She found some shirt that she could not live without. Moral of the story, I don't get anything in "my stores" but she does, and "her" stores she found nothing.
  19. Where are you going after shad Travis? Oh yeh crazy weather is an understatment. Friday it was 70* here. Last night our pipes froze since it was 14*
  20. I think the eyes are below the legs. I can just make them out.
  21. Nice setup. You all mean Yuengling lager is hard to get? I guess I take it for granted since everywhere around here carries it along with the rest of the Yuengling line.
