My dad is the Manager for the Diagnostic lab of UK(University of Kentucky) and for those of you who don't know what that is; it is a place where people (mainly farmers/cattle ranchers) go to bring dead livestock or horses to see what killed them and my dad and his workers cut them open and give a diognosis(strangely enough all of his workers are women ). and sometimes the zoo willbring some of their dead animals like peacocks, parrets, anacondas, and his workers will sometimes cut the feathers of birds and save them for me, about a week ago I got the breast a Guinea fowl. at least I think its the breast feathers. anyway as long as the feathers are fresh(or unfettered) they should be fine.

Ok this is free! Everytime you go to a small business store look for their refrigerator magnets with there name and stuff on it. Now you can cut these up into squares and fit them into your nymph compartment boxes. Glue it and your done but make sure it can hold a good amount first cause one time i used one and it worked for a little while and then became a black bottom of the box if ya catch my drift.

Actually some computers have a basic photo editing program in it already you just have to find i have an Aspire one D255 netbook by Acer and took me about a year to figure it out(I know right?) but i just right clicked a photo and hit edit and it bruaght it up in an editing station. But all computers are different so unless its by acer it might not have this.

Does the glass bottle thing really work? I thought if you tried to cut hard things it would dull your scissors. Such as logic and physics would suggest.

When i first started tying i had a metal tube bobbin and then i got a ceramic one and it has been awesome. The only time the thread has brokem is when i have too much tension .. But i still use the metal tube for heavier threads and wires.

Maybe a cricket pattern. they are supposed to float right? so think of something that has six legs and might fall on the water. All you really need to do is tie the abdomen and the under-body. Try a cricket pattern with it for starters and then work your way up to some stone flies.

I think you should, because the hatch chart directory is down right now for some reason (look in entomology). i'm in Kentucky so what would the hatch be for this region right now?

Haha sorry guess i didn't quite get what you meant about FILM photography. Anyway I took your information you gave and turned it into advise and voilà a better picture now i think i need to bring in the background a little. I put the camera into flourescent and turned off the flash but i left in auto. and do cameras like mine have micro because if they do I can't find it anywhere.You were very informative and easy explained for a non film related advise again sorry for not reading that correctly. Yep thats a Tutle Devil Bug. Tutle devil bugs are i think antique flies. Tutle devil bug has many more types of flies but are mainly a form of deer hair fly. Did you tie that fly? If so good job. T-Boll
