  10. Shoe its a Daiichi size2 #2220. Never tied a craw but i do most of my smallie fishing with live craws(about 95%) so i just looked for a hook that "looked" about right for the average size i use. 95% till now that is...MUHAHAHA ...lol SD
  11. I "think" your asking about the hole size that the hook slides through....Is that what you need to know sal? Just give a little more info and i'm sure some one can help ya with what ya need. SD

  13. Just a reminder to all those that havent entered yet we have a "fly tyer of the year" contest going on and the deadline is still over a month away so theres plenty of time left. Last i counted there were about 20 people so far and i think Smallie wants to get a total of around 50 so check it out if you havent' already. Its gonna be a fun contest no matter who wins and smallie is gonna make a display of all the entered flies to take to shows so even if you dont think you will win your flies will still help the site so lets get this thing rollin SD
  14. Thanks guys I really just kinda "winged it" so i'm happy that ya think it looks good, thats one of the reasons i joined this site was to keep me interested in tying and trying new patterens and i find the more time i spend on here the more i want to try new flies BDH i havent' loaded a fly in the DB yet but i'll give it a shot tommorow. Thanks again fella's.....gee i wonder what you guys can expect to get from me when we do that bass fly swap SD

  18. Never tried a crawdad fly before so i took a trip to the fly shop after work and got a few things to practice. This is my first attempt at tying one and i would appreciate comments on what needs to be changed? Anything? Dont worry i have thick skin so be honest SD

  20. STS is still the same as it has always been, like Shoe said it is mostly PNW with the every so often article on the GL's. Its nice to read it every once in awhile but its not real helpful for us over here. There is one mag that is really pretty cool and it comes out biweekly and is cheap but DAMN if i cant think of the name right now,it covers MI,OH,IN and since its biweekly it is up to date on current runs and times. I'll see if i cant find an old issue and let ya know Will. SD
  21. QUOTE (Shoe @ Nov 20 2003, 09:37 AM) OMG As long as he's comfortable with it. Around 6 Mile and Woodward and in Royal Oak he would blend right in. Sorry SD...LOL Thats alright Shoe the only time i venture into Wierd Oak is to visit FlyMart SD
