day5 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Ok so I have started. I have been wanting to try a stone pattern for a bit now here is my first try at my own pattern/version. I am not done with the flies yet but Im on it at least!! It is a inverted hook and bead chain tied on the bottom to help keep it snag free. It is a long bend hook that I have bent some more to get a real nice shape out of. The head is purple ice.The wing looks funny in the pic. This should be a nice fly to bump the gravle with and should also get some looks down stream! I call it (not after OLB sorry!) alex's stone
Alex C. 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2005 Nice stone! Looks like it'd work great! Especially in low light
