Radoslav Kiskinov 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Hi, guys, Let me introduce you my proposal for the easiest for tying and vary effective fly of mine - the Hare's hair nymph. Materials: Hook: any kind nymph hook #8 - 12 Head: golden bead Tail: hares hair Body: hares dubbing You can tye it with closed eyes, quickly and easy, for not more than 2 minutes. But if you want variations, put some rib,a red-brown collar(the red-brown collar is my favourite element of the fly, wich is something like my signature in most of my nymphs) and it may seen like these: You can put some cover body like on the first picture form right to left, just to imitate a little, tiny fish. The results are more than beaifull here I am in winter fihing of chub with the fly and the fly standing in the corner of hungry chubs' mouth Please try it in your place to your fish, and tell me after that about the result! Best to you all and skillfull fingers! Rado

JoeBillingsley 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Your first picture and description are just like Taylor Streit's (pardon the expression) "Shit Fly". His reasoning is how many times do you tie a regular Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear and it eventually loses its ribbing and wingcase but still catches fish? You're both right, it does work!
