miked 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Hey all. I have recently come to really like Tiemco hooks. Unfortunately I can only find em locally in 25 paks and at $6.50 to $7 a 25 pack they are quite expensive! Especially when your used to buying Mustads! lol!! Just curious if anyone knows a source to get the 100 packs??? Even J Stockard only has the 25 packs. Thanks Mike

Iowaflyguy 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Mike There is one guy here in Iowa who will order the 100 packs but there is no price advantage over four 25 packs. However madriveroutfitters.com has them for $5.45/25pack and gives an automatic discount of 25% on a purchase of 4 packs. They offer this same discount on all brands of hooks. If you order 2 fifty packs you will get the 25% off. Also they offer free shipping on orders of $25 or more. Any order of 100 of the same size hook gets the discount. If you also like the TMC 200r it is on the dry fly hook page. (I had trouble finding that one). The service is great if I order on Mon morning I usually receive my order in Wed mail. They are not my favorite source for supplies due to their limited selection. They are worth a look, especially if you are looking to save money on hooks. tight lines and heavy creels -Tom The 25% does not show on the invoice when you order on line but is automaticaly applied by MRO
Sal Velinus 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Apparantly no one else knows how to use google to find things online. There are tons of sources for 100 paks and they can be purchased for about 15 bucks each.
