Frogfish 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Wow John, what a picture! I love the wing spread! Beautiful! Did you shoot it on the Bushhawk? And what settings on your camera? I can't wait for more!

Wulff 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 Thanks again. Frogfish, it was with the Bushhawk. The only time I dont have my 400 mounted on the BH is when using the car as a blind and shooting from within. The setup is too large to swing around and about through the window. The techs were iso 400, f5.6, +1/3ec and 1/5000th. J
Ashby 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 John, I have to say (at the risk of a repeat of all others) this is one of the most amazingly beautiful shots I have ever seen. I have tried to shoot Blue Jays and they do not play nice, then you get this picture up. I have to say, I'm very envious of this picture. About 85 miles from here in a place called the Sierra Buttes is a place called Sardine Lake. That place is over run with Blue Jays and chip monks. I've already told my wife when I get my new camera I will be spending lots of time up there. Now I have a shot to try to live up to. Depth of field, color, contrast...it's all there. Awesome shot!
