I used bead chain eyes for a slower sink rate and white bucktail for the bottom olive and flash for the middle and some of the black olive mixed for the top. also wrapped shank with crystal flash. heres the pics what ya think? of course these will ride hook point up also. these are size 10 hooks

fishaholic69 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2008 I've been tying for a couple months. started fly fishing start of last summer. I fish for bass, gills, catfish and crappie, chubs usually in the summer. this spring once it thaws up I am gonna try for the steelhead we have stocked in the rivers. there are also some white sucker fish that come up with the steelhead in the spring. I live a block away from lake erie so I am gonna use these in its rivers. its the basic minnow of lake erie. we use shiners for perch fishing also in the lake. might have to take the rod out on the boat and fish for white bass walleyes and perch. haha. well basically I am just trying to find all the bugs and fish that live around here and make um so I am ready this year.
