Ashby 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Wow Jay, I could not believe my eyes when I saw all the Bald Eagles together in the tree. Some very awesome shots. I agree with you, birding is very humbling. I guess the trick is to never lose faith in that one perfect shot you will get. Ashby
Guest Big E Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Bald Eagles Chillin Nice pics. I seen this one and immediately said "dayum....this looks like a tree I know and the Wasatch Mtns in the background" then I looked at your profile and seen you were from UT. Can't remember where the tree is at but I've seen pictures and I may even have a couple myself just like it. Its an awesome shot with the contrasting dead tree with eagles perched in it and the background of the mtns. Is the tree by chance at Willard Bay? JayMorr 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Thanks guys. Big E. these shots were taken out on Farmington Bay. I missed the migration peak by a week. I met a couple birders who said they were able to capture 60-70 bald eagles together out on the ice the week before near the river inlet. That would be a really cool shot!!!
