Frogfish 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 How do you view the EXIF data on a picture?
letumgo 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 Here is a recent posting that gives a link to a cool add-on for the Firefox web browser to view the EXIF information of images posted on the web. Once you install it, all you have to do in right click on an image and choose view properties. It comes up with a nice window summarizing all of the EXIF image information if it is available. http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=34540

letumgo 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 John - Your photography shows your WAY beyond needing to look at the EXIF data to see how a photo was created.
troutgeek 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 What I end up doing is cheat -- I download the pic to my machine and view the EXIF data via Photoshop. I then delete the photo out of respect to the photographer.
Frogfish 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 For a DSLR newbie like me, I just want to see what specs created what effects. Thanks for the help. I might just go with the dl way. A little more work, but I don't care as I don't use firefox. I swear to delete the pic right away. A fisherman's promise!
