Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 In: being a member of the best site on the net Out: the fact that its run by a bass fisherman In:living in michigan and having all these wonderful hatches to fish Out:because of all the rain the hatches now are fishable in your driveway In:Learning to tie your first trout fly and then catching your first trout Out:the damn thing was only 6" long In:not careing and still being happy about catching it! In:joining in on fly swaps Out:forgeting about the swap till the night before the due date In:finding rare materials for tying on ebay for a cheap price Out:when you recieve it you realize its actully hair from a house cat In:going on a group outing with guys from the forum Out:realizing once you get there that your vest is back in canada Doh! In:sitting on the motel porch watching smalliehunter run down the street chasing cars yelling steelhead baby! Out:looking over and noticing hes only on his first beer and wondering what the hell hes gonna be like after a few more In: Having a nice warm summer day to fish your favorite river Out:having to dodge 312,871 canoes In:warm summer day+canoes=bikinis Out:staring to long at the bikini in the front of the canoes that you dont notice her 250# boyfriend in the back giving you a dirty look Feel free to add to the list Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Out - Running out of vacation days and the home is still in need of major repairs. In - Brand new fly. Out - Breaking it off on a tree the first cast.
