rockworm 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 I'd say bigdewey has it right: remove the flesh and fat (scraping with a knife or spoon), rub with Borax and let the skin dry, keeping it flat. Repeat the process (scraping/rubbing/drying) once or twice until the skin is nice and dry. Some people also rub Borax into the feathers to kill potential parasites. I wouldn't mess with formadehyde.
