Royal Humpy

Recommended Posts

I looked and didn't see a Royal Humpy in the data base, but whether or not there is, this is still one of my favorite dry flies.

I hope you enjoy, please tell me what you think of it.

Al around thats pretty good, you might want to watch crowding the eye on youre hook, the eve area is sacred ground on a fly hook so next time tie in youre hackle a little further back and tie the body a little further back, your doin pretty good ;)

iv been looking for humphys in the data base, as it is the only deerhair flie i ever tie. i belive you are the first to post one :D youre humphy rest strait on the tail and hackle like it should. it looks nearly perfect if it was not for some rebel hairs sticking out from the head. if you take a tweeser you can snip of the hairs in the head, if that dont work gently cut them away with a razor blade.

Im a bit worry you take this in a bad way, i realy hope Not, because i think you did very well :punk: .

Regards Claudia
