Chase Creek 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2009 I think I've asked this in every forum I can think of - I'll be doing a solo thru-hike on the Shore to Shore Trail (Michigan) from Oscoda on Lake Huron to Empire on Lake Michigan in June. About 250 miles. I've talked with the Michigan Trail Riders Ass'n, who maintain the trail, and have thier maps, but they really don't get much input about trail conditions, etc, from a hiker's point of view. Anyone hiked this one, or even parts of it, East to West, or the other direction? Could use some information on places to send re-supply boxes (Luzerne, Kalkaska?) near the trail, terrain types in different areas, etc. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Chase Creek 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2009 Thanks Ray. The more info the better. Still have time before the hike, but I like to know as much about the trail as I can before hand, makes planning supply points etc. much easier.
