navigator37 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 This fly is pretty good for fast water or skated across stillwater as well. Here are a few shots from other angles.
BigDaddyHub 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Certainly should float. Love caddis patterns. I'm a sucker for any good looking caddis, Nav!
Ben 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Certainly should float. Love caddis patterns. I'm a sucker for any good looking caddis, Nav! Me too! Grayling here will attack a fly skating on the surface. They come clear out of the water and take the fly on their way back down. Amazing to see.
navigator37 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Yeah this one floats really well. You can also fish it as a diving caddis to simulate egg laying by pulling it along hard enough. It comes right back up to the surface quick without getting waterlogged.
