Dai-Riki Hook Boxes

Recommended Posts

Anyone keep these? I get the feeling they're quite useful, and I just can't quite wrap my mind around what to use them for. I'm sure I've pitched dozens of them, but I've kept 6 or 7 and they're sitting on my bench staring at me and I can't bring myself to drop them in the trash...

Let's have a vote:

Keep them longer or reclaim the space they've been occupying.

Dubbing dispensers. They will hold your average bag of dubbing, they connect to each other and they're free!

Since the bottom edges are rounded on the ends they would work well for holding beads. I hate those little zip lock bags.

They're handy to have at FFF Expos and Conclaves to put any collected flies in, so that a' don't loose them before gettin' home.

I use 'em to hold flies before I sort them into their proper fly boxes. I also give 'em to buddies when I tie for them.

But now, thanks to CoachBob, I have another use for them.

i rebox other makers hooks in them...especially Mustad

Why the heck didn't I think of that? They stack/fit much better in my hook drawer.

Thanks
