SALMON -- east coast salmon swap

Seems we are the only ones that are going to be a part of this swap, so how is this idea?

 

we each do 2 sets of flies, 6 each set

 

or we can just do a dozen of one pattern and we each get two.......

 

let me know what you guys think...........I can close it now and we can have at it

You guys can do either 12 of one pattern--- everyone gets 2

or you can do 6 of two patterns --- everyone gets 2---just 2 different flies

either way- it is a total of 12 flies

 

 

I will be doing 6 of two patterns..........

 

It doesn't matter........with the few AWESOME folks who decided to do this swap----- opens up the 12 or 6/6 ............the 6/6 of two patterns sounds cool........

 

I'll be doing my DEATH stonefly--- 2 salmon catching colors..........or a DSF and a nuk-egg?

I've been doing estaz egg patterns and prepping a million hooks with a moe-egg head----can't wait for the salmon to run and the steel to follow..................................

No way are you holding things up............due date is Sept 16.........plenty of time to get them done !!!!!

 

Not sure about anyone else, but this time of the year I get Obessive Compulsive with my salmon and steelhead flies........I turn into a machine and just crank them out...........in the last week I have tied up about 75 stoneflies, 160 estaz eggs, and have prepped over 200 streamer hooks and egg hooks with a moe-egg head..............20 prince nymphs and a few steelie sized hares ears.........

 

I still have a ton of hooks--- sucker spawn, caddis, buggers, stoneflies, streamers, gloBugs and halo eggs still need to be

tied !!!!! :headbang: :punk:
