Flyman416 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2011 I tied up a pair of earrings for my sisters birthday and she loved them, i tie them with Dry fly Rooster Necks, #2 Badger grade 2 and Grizzly Matuka soft hackle, Olive. first i tied on the soft hackle using black thread and a long shank hook, and then i tied the badger hackle. the feathers don't have to be too long about four or three inches or so. i took them off the vise clipped the bend of the hook and put them in one of her earring boxes. experiment with this and you'l probably get more ideas and you could also take some saddle hackle and tie one earring it'l look like the hair feather things if shes into that. Then put the eye of the hook on a post if you don't know what that is ask your girlfriend, and tie it on to that hope this helps.
