iFly 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 Everything looks good.......but are you gonna trim it to shape?

Peterjay 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Mark Sedotti ties a similarly-shaped fly that he uses when bluefish are chopping bunker into pieces. It's supposed to represent a fish head, and he says it works great. Never tried it, but it's food for thought anyway.
nyFLYguy05 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Thank you for the great comment sir, that was my goal here, to imitate a flkoating head or half a baitfish (aka bunker), you can only find out if it works by trying! thanks guys
tidewaterfly 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Chum flies work well on Bluefish, so that should work too! Stripers will eat Chum flies also, so a "Chunk" fly should work on them as well, particularly when they're Blues around too!
