bad fish rising 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 what kind of paint did you use on your jigs? they look very nice!
Simon Lidster 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2012 Powder paint. Heat the jig, dip in the powder then hang in a warm oven for 20 minutes. Google powder painting lures. The face was painted by one of our staff, a very talented artist!
bad fish rising 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2012 i tore the steel up this winter on jigs but the hooks kept straightening out i bought some 2x 32833 bln mustad and my friend is milling me a custom mold so i was curious about the paint i was a powder coater for 6 years and the way people put it on and bake it is not correct it takes static electricity to get a good bond and more heat than the lead can handle to truelly bake the finnish to a undistructable shell i do like your jigs they look very nice
