I hope you enjoy them, but I'll appreciate any and all criticism Thank you, Carson LeBoeuf I like them Carson...simple is best in my opinion. As for critiques...if you build a smooth underbody and then wrap the body and ribbing, it makes a more even body overall...I mean the fish don't care (most baitfish have beat up, uneven bodies), but we as the tiers like to see that perfect body.... lykos33 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2012 Tom , do you think substituting moose for the elk would do any damage to the way the fly works? I have loads of moose but if i have any elk, it's a mystery which one it is... Murray

WiperDawg 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 Just thought you all would like to know that the Wiper flies worked - got to try em out Tuesday morning, and this was the result! Both fish ate the EP minnow, the wiper a yellow/white one, the sauger a chartreuse/white one!
FlyFishin'Jam 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 lykoss33, you sure do post some nice streamers, and if you ever need anyone to test them *grin*. I think substitutions are absolutely fine, instead of using 'arctic fox' on the wings of my streamers i started using Australian Possum, and Kangaroo fur. I actually prefer the Roo fur at the moment to medallion arctic fox. I really like the taste of Roo in a burger or steak so all is good

C LeBo 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2012 Thanks Ebrant10 and lykos33! I appreciate every single bit of advice I can get from you guys. Here is another little streamer I made for the bass this weekend Oh ya, do you think sizes 12 and 14 are too small for a streamer?
