cheech 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 I bought some of the jig hooks on impulse to reach the required amount to qualify for the discount. Any suggestions on patterns to try? I've heard some use them for beadhead nymphs. Here are some ideas that Curtis and I have been kicking around. Scroll down to see the little stonefly that I have been using lately. http://www.flyfishfood.com/2013/08/tying-on-jig-style-hooks.html Cheech Do you have a SBS/recipe for that crawdad pattern. Alter the colours and that will be killer in the salt. That Craw is Curtis' pattern. We will hopefully have time this winter to throw that one together. Fletchfishes 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Great link Cheech, thanks! That stonefly looks really nice. Is there a recipe or step-by-step for the pattern?
cheech 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2013 Great link Cheech, thanks! That stonefly looks really nice. Is there a recipe or step-by-step for the pattern? Thanks for the compliments! We will work on the videos this winter. We have been fishing too much to do all of the tutorials that we want to. Not a bad problem to have;)
