A Cheaper Alternative to Sally Hansen

Like many fly tiers I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails for head cement. I have recently found a product called Wet 'n' Wild Shine Nail Protector Clear 401A at Walgreens for $.69 cents. It works fine and is 1/4 the price of Sally Hansen.

Yep, any varnish with the addition of a hardener, some say with nylon or similar work great. Rimmel and Revlon in the UK make cheap ones.
