Henrik Thomsen (DK) 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Looks not like the burrowing E. danica nymph, but more like a baetis or other agile darter. Sorry for my harsh words, but the E. danica is more fat and has very distinct gills on the abdomen. Look at this site http://guillaume.doucet.free.fr/index.php?id_partie=2&id_page=1&table=ephemere&genre=Ephemera&espece=danica&nom=ephemeres But very nice tied fly. :-)
MW69 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2014 Hi there, thx again for your comments. @ Preach: it would be strong enough to fish because all the parts are tied in securely but there is no movement in itself... @ Henrik: don't be sorry for your words. Thats absolutely ok for me and i will Keep it in mind when i will do another one :-) greetz MW
