FlaFly 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 Beautiful Terje! But a couple of questions: 1. did you pose the canoes, or were they already that way? 2. I thought you lived way inland from the sea. Did you take a trip to the seashore? 3. This looks a great deal like the view you posted last week (sans canoes) except that the crescent moon now has dropped almost below the horizon. Am I right? Thanks a lot, FlyFly :-) It should have been "by the lake" :-) They are the same canoes that you saw on the picture you refer to :-) Terje

Kentuckysteve 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2015 Thanks Terje for the camera info. That is a great camera.I just started using a full frame camera.I was wondering if you used a ND filter for the photo but i see now the low iso and small aperature allows you the longer shutter speed.Smoothed the water out.The soft box was a neat trick.Do you use a hyper focal distance calculator for the focus or just set the lens manually and get the shot?Even with the low light the farthest point in the pic seems to be as in focus as the foreground.Your landscapes are amazing.
