conehead 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Conehead I have a small but frustrating problem. I am going crazy (OK, I had a head start) I use "Loon's head cement” It comes in a plastic bottle with a steel distribution tube that is capped and sealed with a little red rubber cap. For a year I never had a problem. Now it seems that the rubber cap never seals and every time I go to use the head cement it is hardened in the end of the tube and must be cleaned. There’s not a needle in my house that will fit in the tube to unclog it. I have been using a tip cleaner (the smallest wire) for an acetylene torch tip to clean it. I have tried to clean the inside of the rubber tip, but it still does not seal. The head cement is water based and works great. Any ideas guys and/or girls? Joe Hard 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Transfer it to a clean airtight container.
jbenenson 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 I had the same problem. If you aren't wedded to the Loon product, change brands. It's not worth the frustration IMHO.
