Bugger s

Bugger,Bugger,Bugger, this year i plan on using 2 flies Bugger s and black ants for trout ,bass, gills etc. if you know of any off the wall buggers post a url or a description. always wanted to carry less flies..this is the year thanks guys

"Off the Wall" is kind of a vague description, but here are some things you could add to make it more "appealing" to fish (or to the tier).

 

1)Add a bead head

2)Add crystal flash (or any shiny material) to the marabou tail

3)Use color patterns which contrast each other (or ones which are alike)

4)Tie patterns with and without lead weight so you can have flies for different occasions.

5)For ants, look in "Tying Flies With Foam, Fur, and Feathers" by Harrison Steeves. He has some really nice patterns. Tie up some sinking patterns (Transpar-ant and Attract-ant), you can google them, or find them in Harry's book.

TroutRuleBassDrool, sorry about off the wall =different types,something that may not be common,,have all kinds of buggers and ants tyed just looking for ideas on unusual materials ,etc ,,,,,,
