cphubert 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2017 Retired Navy, dirt sailor (Seabee) Mike I don't blame you, watching the reductions the military lost a lot of good people, not all where racked and stacked fairly, additionally some rate's or MOS's where targeted heavily. Equipment and technology first... the Navy wanted to get rid of the Seabee's but Commandant Gray offered to take the Naval Construction Force (with reductions and changes) the Navy did not want that either so they reduced us and shifted some assets to the MEF. Between BRAC and downsizing everyone wonders why the National Guard and Reserves gets used heavily to meet commitments, and why service members today see stop loss gaps and many multiple deployments.
