mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 I saw that report, Vic! Astonishing, that this type of Galaxy is so rare, yet we were able to find it. It's actually quite beautiful, a "see thorough" galaxy! Of course, it might not be that rare ... just that one that large is rare. There could be a lot more of them, in smaller sizes that are almost impossible to see. My conjecture. It's the remnants of a high speed galactic collision. The galaxies (A and stealing most of the heavy matter (dark matter and black holes) away, leaving only a spray of stars © that have coalesced into this form?
