  1. Thanks Kirk Daughter and keeping me young---ok wore out!! Not to big of hands just a tiny fish or a combination of both maybe lol
  2. Had a little outting with the youngster. She wanted to go for a drive so we did. We went on a search for some beaver ponds that we were told about by the locals. They couldn't pin it down any closer to about 30 square miles. We are not sure if we found the right ones but we found some! The little one was all over the fishing idea. So we carefully waded out and about to get to where we could reach the fish. They were not overly active but looked like some were there. We had snow clouds rolling in and eventually snowed on us. She very politely said "can we go now I'm cold" We headed back to the truck just in time. Flurries turned into ugly fast Here is a few pictures of the trip. I did go back up and have more photos but that will come later. Enjoy and happy fishing

  5. Caddiscowboy---The Cutt's in the fall coming out of Henrys Lake have lotsssss of color. However, I did bump the saturation a little to make it really shine.

  15. Sorry for not responding sooner to your camera question/statement. I'm distracted at times with shooting, tying flies and life. I currently shoot with the following: Nikon D300 Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm Nikon 80-400mm Nikon Speedlight SB800 Tamron 180mm Macro f 3.5 Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 Nikon 35mm f1.8 Thats all the big stuff If I don't say where I shoot the shot remind me. Mostly I just forget to list it and sometimes it's "no telem creek" Hope that helps Lynn
  16. Jan Good shots. I really like the close up flower shots. I'm still waiting to get some dry ground to start hiking. I'm tired of the wet snow and mud
  17. Steeldrifter, I love the Macro stuff. I have been shooting flowers lately and learning the new lens. I like the Ant pic. It brings the tiny things in life too life in such a big way. I'm currently shooting with the 180mm Macro and it's alot fun. Keep shooting and using your Macro.
  18. Alex, I like the first one best. I would agree with WYKnot about using timed exposures and maybe soften the water a little. It's a fun way to shoot water. It's just another way to shoot. It doesn't take away from your shot---just a different way.
  19. Best way to learn is shot the heck out of it Post on here and ask questions. There are some great photogs that frequent the forum. I have learned a ton from thier comments and posts.

  25. Can you post a picture of it? If it's a variation of those hoop style constructions, I can probably walk you through it... have to see how it's put together though. I used to sell something that might be a version of it. Sorry Mel--No help here. I borrowed one of my buddies hoop style elk decoy once. Unfolded it and couldn't ever get it back together right Sounds like your in good hands with David though
