  1. OK folks, the pics are posted in a new thread. http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=73932 It took me a lot of agonizing, as the quality of ties is truly exceptional, but I have settled on netabrookie as the recipient of the muskox patch. It will go into the mail tomorrow. Thanks all for your participation and your patience with my delay. I am proud to be part of this community of exceptional artists.

  3. This swap has dragged on long enough. Packaging and mailing out today. Margretann's arrived June 2. Waiting on Sjo, but will forward these when they make it. Posting pics and recipes in the next couple of days.
  4. Count me in. Do they have to be designe for trout? Here on the left coast we use a lot of muddler variations for coho as well.
  5. Got mine last Thursday, but was on a trip to the interior at the time. Just got back. The flies are phenomenal, and rockworm's presentation is stellar as usual. I hope there were enough extras for you to get a full set as well Bruce.
  6. Sorry folks, this weekend waas taken up with emergency surgery (nothing life threatening , but damn painful anyway) and so the packaging and mailing didn't happen. Will jump on it asap. Well, "jump" might be too energetic right now.
  7. My sets are in shadow boxes hnging on the wall in my office at work. Constant reminder to me that there are other things in life than working.
  8. So here is my plan. On Saturday, I will package up all the flies I have and get them in the mail to everyone who got theirs in on time. I will keep back a set for each of the late comers as well as everyones address. When the late ones arrive, I will send them a complete package and mail the three missing flies to everyone else. It seems a fair way to get this swap over and keep most folks happy (I hope). If you didn't send me a recipe for your fly (and if you still remember what you tied, send it to me [electronically in a pm is easiest for me]). I will post pictures with recipes (if they have one) once they are all in.
  9. Yup, - updated in the first post. Waiting on Margretann and Sjo and Qballs. I hope they make it before next week. I am leaving for a 2 week fishing trip on the 30th.
  10. Got flies from rockworm and kenj yesterday. Only a couple to go.
  11. Flies from SCOwens arrived a couple days ago and fishingbobnelson's were heere yesterday. Strill waitng on 5 more to arrive. I have been having major computer issues for the past 3 weeks, so forgive my sporadic posting please.
  12. Got a set of flies from mybadhabit today.
  13. Okay, we now have less than 2 weeks to get the flies to me. 5 are in the house (counting mine).
  14. Not yet Travis, only have two in right now. My computer has been down for a few days now, so I haven't been updating as well as I should have been, but the first post is up to date now I think.
  15. liquid lace can be used with or with out oil. I prefer it with oil because it gives it extra depth. if you know a diabetic, you should be able to get them to give you one of theirs. I just went into the pharmacy, told them what I needed them for and they sold me a 10 pack for something like $2.50.
  16. Okay, the swap is now officially underway. We all need to tie up 13 flies (each swapper will get back one of their own flies). Due date is May 15. PM me when you have mailed your flies so we can keep track of their progress. Thanks.
  17. OK, sign up seems to have slowed. Let's give it 24 hours (10:30 PDT) and then I will close it off further to swappers. I will then send out my address cvia PM to everyone. Tie on!!
  18. Welcome aboard kenj. The folks here are all great and you're going to fit right in.
  19. As long as it contains all the elements, we'll be happy to see what you come up with.
  20. Yes, I would consider them an option (they were exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote that up)
