Hi everyone as always a lot of questions, i´m going to Roatan in Honduras in March and are going to try catch the really big fishes on the flyrod. Any one who have good patterns for cubera, grouper and giant travelly or wahoo? Many thanks, Jonas

hello, i´m going to Roatan in Honduras in March and are starting to tie the flies for the adventure but there is some patterns that are recommended that i can´t find, maybee you know the flies? For Bones: Honey Shrimp Horror For Permit: Mother of Epoxy Spawning Shrimp I´m going mostly after big snapper, cuda, jacks and tarpon but there will be some bone and permit fishing as well. Thanks a lot for your kindness! but i got all thoose patterns was more thinking about specific tarpon patters or flies for other big fishes like jacks, dorado etc. thanks a lot -
So now it´s time again at last. I´m going to Roatan in Honduras for some tropical fishing. This time i will focus on tarpon, big permit and other big fish, any who have been there and can give me som advice on patterns and colors? I will tye the flies on 1/0 - 4/0 Owner hooks. I will bringe some bonefish/permit flies as well.

So true, next time i will go for at least thee weeks. The eleven days we had this time was nothing and two was spended on airplans.

Hi, The Dannish coast is great! but Venezuela was like staying in paradise, i just want to go back. Maybe i have can go there again in 3-4 months. The fishing was truly amazing. The flies without white was the best i used almoste every patter i´ve tied. The tarpon flies was very good for the barracuda as well.

The eyes is 0,60mm fishingline. I have burnt the topp on the line with a lighter and then i have dipped the line in black varnish. I usally do arround 20-30 eyes each time i make some.
